O’Keeffe will blow the whistle in Saturday’s match at FMG Stadium Waikato between the Chiefs and Blues. The 31 year-old ophthalmologist refereed his first Super Rugby match in 2015 between the Highlanders and Crusaders.
Brendon Pickerll will referee the Crusaders first game of Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa, when they take on the Hurricanes at Sky Stadium in Wellington on Sunday afternoon.
