Crusaders look ahead with confidence

Their next two games are in Australia: against the Waratahs in Sydney on April 12 and the Force in Perth on April 20. They will then return home to play the Rebels on April 26.

The side is set to be bolstered by the return of first five-eighths Fergus Burke, flanker Ethan Blackadder and hooker Brodie McAlister after long-term injuries.

Burke, who is heading for Saracens at the end of Super Rugby Pacific, has been out of rugby since Canterbury's Bunnings NPC quarterfinal against Auckland when he injured his Achilles tendon.

Blackadder has recovered from a calf strain, while McAlister dislocated his kneecap in the Crusaders pre-season game against the Highlanders.

Also set to return over the next few weeks are captain and lock Scott Barrett, prop Tamaiti Williams and fullback, and former Welsh international Leigh Halfpenny.
